Dalton Helvey, D.M.D.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Dalton Helvey back home to Sebring as he joins the team at Lakeside Dental Arts. A proud graduate of Sebring High School (Class of 2013), Dr. Helvey went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Florida.

Following graduation, Dr. Helvey and his wife spent two years serving as missionaries in Port-au-Prince, Haiti—an experience that continues to shape his compassionate approach to care. He later returned to UF to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, becoming a proud Double Gator.

Dr. Helvey’s interest in dentistry was inspired by summers spent shadowing Dr. Willey, an experience that ignited his passion for serving his hometown community. During dental school, he developed strong clinical skills in comprehensive care including surgical extractions, CAD/CAM technology, clear aligner therapy, endodontics, and implant restorations.

He is a recipient of several honors, including the International College of Dentists Humanitarian Award, the Dennis/Foerster Oral Surgery Award, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists Student Achievement Award.

Dr. Helvey is committed to providing comfortable, high-quality, and stress-free care to each of his patients.

Beyond dentistry, he gives back to the community as an advisory board member for the United Way of Central Florida and as a member of the Sebring Rotary Club. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, golfing, cheering on the Florida Gators, and spending time with his wife, Aericka, and their two children, Camden and Jaye.

Fun fact: Dr. Helvey is fluent in Haitian Creole!
